Dr. Humayun Mian has served as the Medical Director of Lotus Wellness since its inception in September of 2024. He is a Board Certified Psychiatrist and has been in practice for the last dozen years, treating patients in every setting, although primarily inpatient. He completed residency training in general adult psychiatry at the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Medicine and its affiliated hospitals. Dr. Mian’s interests within psychiatry include the treatment of mood disorders, psychosis, anxiety, and PTSD. He believes in the biopsychosocial approach to diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of mental illness. A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Dr. Mian has called middle Tennessee home for the last six years. When he is not with his patients, he enjoys spending time with his family.
